Muzadam, Oman

Last weekend we went for a road trip to oman through fujairah to extend another 30 days for afiq to stay in dubai.

We passed by Al arqaa and went off road into a rocky and deserted desert!! The place was eerily scary and it reminds me of the story * The hills of eyes*. There were abandoned stone houses and wreacked vehicles. NOT A SINGLE SOUL IN SIGHT! I felt uneasy and the winding road lead us to the off road in the mountain! I told hubby we are not young anymore and hv 3 kids with us, so no need to be that adventorous hokay.lol. So, he made a u-turn back to Ras AL Khaimah to go into OMAN, Muzadam. The road to muzadam was breathtaking, it reminds me of Great Ocean Reef in Australia. But once we reached the town, it was utterly dissapointing. It was really a very small town and not a single mall or souvenir store available. The best hotel was fully booked so we hv no choiced but to stay in the only OK hotel that was available. Initial plan was to stay for 3 days 2 nights but thank GOD that they dont accept credit card and there was not a single working ATM in town, we left the next day. On the way back home, we decided to drop by DragonMart and maya got herself a scooter while I bought a *bling2* mouse for my lappie.

Oh, before that we stop by RAS Mall to hv lunch at chillies before heading home. I always love this mall though it was small but very cosy. lol.

Till next road trip if hubby decided to extend another 30 days for afiq. Doha maybe?? lol.
